Microneedling – Collagen Induction Therapy

Duration of the class: 3 days (3 models needed)
Tuition: $3480

In a nutshell: It is a non-surgical procedure that introduces small titanium needles into the skin, in order to trigger the creation of new collagen (neo-collagenesis) and the instantaneous formation of new capillaries that increase the vascularization of the area. (DO NOT CONFUSE IT WITH THE SO CALLED “VAMPIRE FACIALS”.

It is indicated especially for the professional treatment of the epidermis especially in the following cases:

– Removal of damaged tissues from pores, scars and marks.

– Rejuvenation: stretching of the skin, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.

– With the administration of vitamins and other agents for the fight against aging.

– For reducing the depth of acne scars and enlarged pores

– In the reduction of stretch marks on the skin.

– For the treatment of spots (melasma)

– Collagen induction therapy (dermal and hydration revitalizing treatments)

– For any therapy that needs a transdermal introduction of ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, collagen, etc.

– For any therapy that needs a transdermal introduction of ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, collagen, etc.

Most commonly known by the brand that invented the collagen induction therapy device (Dermapen), microneedling is available to both surgeons and aestheticians. The difference between the practice and application of a microneedling service between plastic surgeons and estheticians is the depth at which the needles penetrate the skin.

Properly administered, the result of microneedling services are quite remarkable and easily visible to the customer and the aesthetician. Our program is a hands- on program and we highly encourage that the student experiences the procedure on themselves. It is crucial for us that students learn to work with the appropriate direction of the microneedling device and the effects of the active ingredients used in the procedures as well as how they help improving certain skin imperfections. Unlike topical moisturizers that simply sit on the surface of the skin, micro-perforation is improving the skin’s quality, naturally, from the inside out.

A kit is included with the: CIT device, 5 vials of active ingredients (hyaluronic acid, collagen, collagen booster 2x), hydroquinone) from the Suisse brand Dermedics, exfoliant, alginates mask, gloves, hair caps, mouth covers and a uniform.
