Lip blushing is a form of semi-permanent makeup. Essentially, it is a cosmetic tattoo of the lips that enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, improving the shape of the lips, giving definition and the illusion of fullness.

Using a method called pixelating, the color is deposited and as undetectable dots of pigment to line and shade. The result is a color that looks as if it could be your own—but with a boost (and a more pronounced shape). The colors used are organic pigments and modern, digital tools that feature several needle configurations instead of one harsh setting.

Is it painful?

Avoid ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E the day before to reduce the possibility of bruising and bleeding. Topical anesthesia is applied to the lips area and because the skin on your lips is extra porous, the anesthesia is much more effective than it would be on, say, your brows during a microblading session. Aside from a slight pinching feeling at the beginning, the sensation is very similar to someone using a finger to apply slight pressure.

Is there anything to help with the after care?

Yes! lots and lots and lots of lip balm. Similar to when you go on accutane treatments where the skin is extremely dry, your lips will feel extremely dry too for about 4 days, after this time you will regain moisture and your lips will start looking better and better.

How many sessions will I need?

Usually you need 1 or 2 sessions to get the perfect results however we know that each body is different so we offer you 2 touch ups with your initial service.
